Diver Instruction Services

At the Diver Instruction Services Group we cater for all levels of diving and we help our club members improve their skills through the courses and services we offer. Some of our divers just like to cruise, looking at fish, taking underwater photos, gathering the odd scallop or crayfish. While some others take the more challenging form of diving through our technical diving programs such as Deeper Diving, Mixed Gas Diving and Cave Diving. We have regular social functions such as nights out , guest lecturers, slide nights, video or just photo nights with a BBQ are held regularly and much more. The club runs dive trips every weekend around Port Phillip Heads on board a Marine Board surveyed boat. Diving trips are organised to take members to dive our interstate sites, such as Merimbula, Mt Gambier or Tasmania and these have always proved very popular. We also run an overseas trip every year as well. Details of the trips can be found in our travel section. The monthly club newsletter contains items of interest and schedules of social events, club dives and club nights and a whole lot more. Come dive with a club that loves to dive !!!!

2. If you don’t own your own tank, you will only pay for the hire of a tank and not the air or nitrox. (Nitrox offer only to Gold Member)

3. Discount on equipment purchases does not apply if you purchase the equipment on our finance deals.

4. Your free equipment servicing includes 1 nominated regulator set complete (First Stage, Second Stage and Occy – serial numbers required). Plus a nominated Tank including Nitrox Servicing (excluding stickers) (serial number required).

5. DIS Tech Endorsement is only available to GOLD Members. To qualify for this Endorsement you must have a recognized TECH/CAVE Certification.

6. Your free equipment servicing includes 1 nominated regulator twin set complete (2 x First Stages, 2 x Second Stage – serial numbers required). Plus a nominated Twin Tank Testing including Nitrox Servicing (excluding stickers) (serial numbers required). This is offer is instead of Special Conditions Point 4.
