Overnight Reef.
Depth:  12-50+m
Experience:  Level 3-4
Named after a shot line that became fouled and had to be left overnight. Part of the wall that forms the RIP of Port Phillip Heads. Starting in around 12m and extending down the drop off to over 50m.
Points of Interest: : Long swim throughs, caves and overhangs make this the land of big fish, it's not unusual to see kingfish and snapper swim past plus crayfish lurk in ledges that are full of Bullseyes and other reef fish.
Bottom Composition: : Reef wall for the most of it. Lots of ledges, overhangs, under cuts, caves.
Water movement/currents: : The drop off presents dark and deep water nearby so care has to be taken with depth and time, a forceful incoming current can push divers deeper than they planned so the dive must be planned around slack water times.
Hazards: As the site is close to the shipping channels care has to be exercised and clearance from shipping has to be checked.
